Betrayal held some of the highlights I like to see in a book. Military, political, suspense, some twists and a few good changes. Generally, this type of story would be easy to predict and seem to follow a normal path. This is not the case with Betrayal. This came at me as an original story with the author hitting the right buttons to make it even more believable.One of the main topics in the story was a great change and added to the overall effect. Sorry, no spoilers here.
Add in the brother and sister combo even at times not knowing what the other was doing, and again it hits the right buttons. Once I started reading I could not stop. The suspense was just right and kept moving along at a nice pace. No long drawn out scenarios, no wondering what was happening.
My suggestion is that you give Betrayal a try. Check the reviews, check the story, and decide for yourself.

I only got about a quarter of the way through before calling it quits. For me, the plot was just too far fetched. I think I'll stick to Vince Flynn.
I love quick reads. This was a perfect delivery. I don't need half a page of stage setting, and neither did this author. He did in 211 pages what others need 350 pages to accomplish. I just purchased two more of Tim's books. Looking forward to diving in.
Just finished reading Betrayal, by Tim Tigner. This was my first read of his work and as I am a junkie to this genre I can only say...can't wait for the next book in what I hope to be a new exciting series. The book was comparable to the writings of Lee Child, David Baldacci, Marc Cameron, Vince Flynn, Trevor Scott, and Daniel Silva just to name a few of my favorite authors and all who write in this save the world, spy, terrorist genre. Love, Love, Love it!
An excellent thriller. Tim Grab's your attention from the first page to last. Like able charters and despicable villains. A true page turner. I have found "Flash" and Coercion" to be up to par with "Betrayal". Tim now needs a recurring character like Jack Ryan, Jack Reacher.
Ok, it's a bit fantastic, but isn't that what you want in a super-hero thriller? The story is as plausible as any James Bond adventure and just as exciting. Practically made for a movie! I do a lot of serious reading (this isn't), but I also enjoy well-written, well-developed action dramas (this is) that keep me guessing and interested. I would rank Tim Tigner among the best of contemporary adventure novelists.
"Betrayal" is non-stop action starring a delightful highly skilled sister and brother team, and some really nasty baddies. The twists and turns will keep you turning--the pages. Plan on losing some sleep 😴 and turning in with a smile.
A GREAT read!! It was very hard to put this book down and get other chores done. My mind kept going back and trying to figure out what could/might happen next !! It is fast-paced and believable; you want to know more about the brother and sister, and their relationship. I would highly recommend this book to other adventure readers.
